Angsty Teens/Drag Queens – Guys Like Knives

Lars Bang Larsen ist keine Band, die überstürzt Konzerte spielt oder Massen an Platten raushaut. Eine EP haben sie bislang veröffentlicht, 2008 war das. Die EP war super und ging ratzfatz weg. Fidel Bastro legt diese EP übrigens jetzt wieder auf, diesmal als CD in dem niedlichen und seltenen 3″-Format. Aber nicht nur das ist toll, Lars Bang Larsen arbeiten an einer neuen Single! Und es wird noch schöner, jetzt spielen sie am Samstag, den 16. April, in den Deichtorhallen! Am besten auch noch gleich den 23. Juni vormerken, denn da sind sie im Hafenklang.

Das coolste Video dieser Woche kommt eindeutig von Thee Faction. Coole Band (sozialistische Rock ‘n’ Roll-Band), coole Location (BBC-Lounge in Sussex), cooler Song (“Deft Left”), coole Aufnahme (echter Kameramann). Wow.
Letzten Sonntag haben Thee Faction eine Session (plus Interview) in der Sendung “BBC Introducing: The South” gespielt. Und wurden dabei gefilmt, so entstand das Video. Noch bis Sonntag abend könnt ihr die ganze Sendung über den BBC-IPlayer hören.
