Interview with Jeremy from Everything Everything

Is this your first visit to Germany?
Yes, as a band. But Mike came here when he was busking round Europe as a teenager and I've visited Munich and Berlin before. I love Germany.

You are playing on Monday, the 18th in Hamburg, do you know anything from Hamburg? Have you heard from the Reeperbahn? The club you are playing is around the corner. It's a nice club, decorated with angels (naked of course) So I hope you are not devout...
Well obviously we're all familiar with the Beatles' history on the Reeperbahn. We can't wait to get a sense of that atmosphere. We won't be bothered by naked angels, in fact we requested them. "No naked angels, no show!"

What comes next after the Germany tour? I've seen your are playing at the SXSW-Festival in March. When comes the album out?
We're recording back in the UK as soon as we've roadtested the songs in Germany, we'll work on the record right up until March, then head to the USA. Hopefully the album will be out in the spring.

How is your situation as a band at the moment? Has anything changed since you were on every music blog and every radio station mentioned as a 'band to watch in 2010'?
We have a lot more interviews to do now! But really it just means that more people know about us which is good. We're still just concentrating on making the music as good as we can and trying to not be lead by the tips lists and hype and stuff.

Toast On Fire is a morning radio show and because we all like to go out I'm always looking for a good breakfast recipe for the morning after a long night. What is in your opinion the best recipe for a morning after a gig with too much booze and far too little sleep?
1. Pint of water and two Ibuprofen at bedtime. 2. Eggs Benedict (toasted muffins with eggs, bacon and hollandaise sauce) and one strong coffee in the morning. 3. Glass of red wine in the mid to late afternoon... some fruit would probably be a good idea too but it doesn't usually come into it...
